This image of flowing water reflecting sky and trees is a demonstration of the three-legged chair that all photographs must balance for every image, particularly when one must compromise optimal settings: shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
The shutter speed was 1/13 second, a relatively long shutter speed for a hand-held photograph. Aperture was f/32, relatively high for greater focus from near to far through the frame. The ISO of 800 is also relatively high for landscape photography but enabled me to set the shutter speed and aperture at my preferred settings.
When was the last time you took your camera off Program and set the controls yourself?
